About

Hi, I’m Jessica, and this is Lazy Bones Bakery, a micro bakery located in Kingston upon Thames. My grandma taught me how to bake when I was a child and we spent many happy hours in the kitchen together, so my bakery name is an homage both to her, as she would often tell me the story of Hansel and Gretel (mainly because I loved hearing about the witch’s gingerbread house), where Gretel is called ‘lazybones’ by the witch, and to my own love of Halloween and all things spooky.

I’m originally from Cleveland, Ohio and have been living in the UK for over 18 years, so my baking style is influenced by the traditional American and European bakes I ate growing up and modern British baking with my own twist. I’m always open to offering new products, so if there’s something you’d like to see that I don’t currently have, drop me an email and let me know.

If you need to contact me, you can do so at lazybonesbakes@gmail.com.

I am part of the Bread Angels network – a group of bakers dedicated to making good bread available to their local communities. You can find information about other micro bakeries in their network here.
